Learning to Be Still

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Psalm 46:10 NKJV

Learning to be still in the business of  life is very important.  God has been teaching me to stop, think what is important, be still and spend time with Him... 

This Bible verse have been a daily reminder in my life for a while...

For past five years I had a beautiful plaque with this verse at work.  About a month ago, one of my coworkers asked me where I got it.  Of course I decided to give it to her.  She was very happy, because this was something she wanted for her bedroom...  As for me, this verse is in my heart...

Sometimes in the business of life we forget about the most important things. We need to stop what we're doing and just be still, wait on the Lord and see what He wants to teach us trough His Word, people or circumstances in our lives...

Prayers, Bible readings and listening to various podcasts are a must in my daily routines. What place do they take in your life?  Lord, give me wisdom to be still and concentrate on what's most important in the business of my life.
